The inspiration for this blog was born of two circumstances. The first is one I never imagined would exist, becoming a single parent after divorcing. Left to play both parts, I began to remember others that were forced into this type of situation prior to myself with no understanding of how super life changing, but also positive it can be.
The second is one that brings about a feeling of grief. It is the story where the sister of a good friend of mine lost her husband and was immediately left to play both parts to no fault of her own. She comes to mind often and my heart aches at the thought of not knowing that is what would occur in the blink of an eye.
The purpose of this page is to recognize parents doing it all! A place to offer praise and or advice/assistance to help other current or upcoming single parents.
